Solutions for Material Transportation and Mining Logistics
Mining Conveyors
The ZME conveyor series—including Belt Conveyors, Screw Conveyors, Apron Feeders, and Bucket Elevators—is engineered to create a seamless material flow from pit to stockpile.

What Is
Mining Conveyor System?
Mining Conveyor System is the lifeline of mining and quarrying operations, serving to move material continuously. After the rock is crushed by the crusher machine, the conveyor system ensures an efficient material flow from the mining area to the stockpile or processing plant without obstacles. Compared to truck transportation, this system is significantly more cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and capable of operating automatically on a large scale.
This system encompasses several types of material transportation: Primary Transportation which uses Apron Feeders to deliver large rock boulders from the hopper to the primary crusher, followed by Secondary Transportation and Distribution using Belt Conveyors to move aggregates between crushing stages. For specialized needs, Screw Conveyors are used for powder materials and Bucket Elevators for vertical material movement to save space at the processing site.
Mechanically, the ZME conveyor system relies on four main components for maximum efficiency: Drive System, Supporting Structure (Frame), Carrying Component (Belt/Bucket/Screw), and Control System. At mining sites, the most commonly used configurations include: Belt Conveyors (long-distance transportation), Apron Feeders (heavy-duty feeding), and Screw Conveyors (fine & enclosed material transportation).

How It Works?
Mining Conveyor System moves bulk materials (such as rocks, ore, or sand) continuously using a combination of mechanical pulling force and the movement of carrying components. This process includes Loading, Conveying, and Discharging.
The mechanical pulling force is applied through a drive unit (Drive Unit) that rotates pulleys, chains, or screws; the material load is supported by idlers or base plates to minimize friction; while the movement of material is regulated to ensure a stable flow towards the next processing stage or storage area (stockpile).
At mine sites or aggregate plants, the commonly used types of material transportation systems along with their working principles include:
Belt Conveyor (Belt Traction): Moves aggregates over long distances continuously with high efficiency.
Apron Feeder (Heavy Chain Traction): Delivers large rock boulders (heavy-duty) from the hopper to the primary crusher.
Screw Conveyor (Spiral Pushing): Moves fine or powder materials through the rotation of a screw shaft within an enclosed space.
Bucket Elevator (Vertical Lifting): Moves material vertically to save plant area space.
Through the integration of automated control systems and high-quality wear-resistant components, ZME ensures the entire material flow at the mine site runs without obstacles, minimizes logistics costs, and maintains constant operational productivity according to your production targets.
ZME Mining Conveyor
ZME Mining Conveyor encompasses material transportation applications from the primary stage to final distribution at the mining site. Apron Feeders are used for the heavy-duty first stage (primary) feeding to deliver large rock boulders into the jaw crusher. Belt Conveyors are widely used from the second to fourth stages (secondary, tertiary & quaternary) to connect the flows between crushing machines continuously. Meanwhile, Screw Conveyors and Bucket Elevators are integrated to handle fine materials or vertical transportation, ensuring the entire material flow from pit to stockpile runs efficiently with high operational stability.
Apron Feeder
Primary Equipment for First-Stage (Primary) Heavy-Duty Feeding
Apron Feeder Machine
Apron Feeder is a stone feeding equipment that works on the principle of heavy-duty chain traction to transport materials. This machine is specifically designed for the primary feeding stage to handle large rock boulders with high impact loads continuously.
Belt Conveyor
Primary Equipment for Long-Distance Material Transportation
Belt Conveyor Machine
Belt Conveyor is a stone conveying equipment that works on the principle of elastic belt traction through the rotation of pulleys and idlers. This machine is specifically designed for the secondary transportation stage to final distribution to move large volumes of aggregates efficiently with low operational costs.
Screw Conveyor
Primary Equipment for Fine and Enclosed Material Transportation
Screw Conveyor Machine
Screw Conveyor is a stone conveying equipment that works on the principle of spiral pushing through a screw shaft rotating within a tube. This machine is specifically designed to handle powder or small granular materials precisely to prevent dust leakage and maintain the cleanliness of the operational environment.
Bucket Elevator
Primary Equipment for Vertical Material Transportation
Bucket Elevator Machine
Bucket Elevator is a stone conveying equipment that works on the principle of bucket lifting through vertically moving belts or chains. This machine is specifically designed for the vertical material transfer stage to save space at the processing site and ensure efficient material distribution to elevated areas.
