Mining Feeders

What is
A Mining Feeder?

Mining Feeding Equipment / Mining Feeders represent the crucial starting point in mineral and aggregate processing systems. Functioning as the material “gateway,” this equipment is responsible for regulating the flow of run-of-mine (ROM) raw rock from the hopper to the crusher consistently. Without a proper feeding system, crushing machines risk experiencing overloads or material starvation, both of which can reduce production efficiency and damage machine components.

This system includes three main types of ZME products tailored to the stages of material classification: The Vibrating Grizzly Feeder is utilized at the primary stage to receive large lumps while simultaneously screening out debris or fine materials before they enter the crusher; the standard Vibrating Feeder is used for high-volume material distribution between stages; and the Electromagnetic Vibrating Feeder offers high-precision control for feeding fine materials or in automatic weighing processes.

How Does It Work?

The driving force is applied through an excitation unit (vibrator) that generates linear or circular vibration on the feeder deck; the material load is evenly distributed across a wear-resistant steel plate to prevent accumulation; meanwhile, the vibration intensity is adjusted (manually or automatically) to ensure the volume of material entering the crusher always remains within optimal capacity to prevent blockages.

At mine sites or aggregate plants, the common types of material feeding equipment used from ZME and their working principles include:
Vibrating Grizzly Feeder (Vibrating Screening): Feeds large rocks while simultaneously screening out fine materials/soil through grizzly bars to increase the efficiency of the primary crusher.
Vibrating Feeder (Standard Vibration): Utilizes dual vibration motors to move large quantities of material with a constant and stable flow.
Electromagnetic Vibrating Feeder (Electromagnetic Vibration): Utilizes magnetic pulses to generate high-frequency vibrations that allow for instantaneous and highly precise control of the feeding volume.

Through the integration of a high-quality damping spring system and a robust frame structure, ZME ensures each feeder unit is capable of withstanding heavy-duty material impacts, minimizing the risk of damage to crushing machines, and maintaining a stable plant operational rhythm to achieve your daily production targets.

Grizzly Feeder

Primary Equipment for First-Stage (Primary) Feeding and Pre-Screening

Grizzly Feeder Machine

The Grizzly Feeder is a rock feeding equipment that works on the principle of linear vibration to deliver materials while simultaneously screening out debris. This machine is specifically engineered for the primary stage to separate fine materials or soil through grizzly bars before entering the crusher, thereby increasing overall crushing efficiency.

Vibrating Feeder

Primary Equipment for Stable Mid-Stage (Secondary & Tertiary) Feeding

Vibrating Feeder Machine

The Vibrating Feeder is a feeding equipment that works on the principle of harmonic vibration to ensure a constant material flow. This machine is designed for versatile use across various production stages to maintain a stable and continuous material supply volume to next-stage conveyor systems or crushing machines.

Electromagnetic Feeder

Primary Equipment for Precision Feeding and Fine Material Control

Electromagnetic Feeder

The Electromagnetic Feeder is a feeding equipment that works on the principle of high-frequency magnetic pulses for highly accurate feeding. This machine is specifically engineered to handle fine materials or powders that require instantaneous volume control, making it ideal for automatic weighing systems or feeding into grinding mills.
